Recap: Bloomingdales Pre-Wedding Party with Monique Lhuillier

I had the wonderful opportunity to be one of the featured event vendors at the Bloomingdale's "PRE-WEDDING" party back in January.

Monique Lhuillier was the special guest and we can not believe how sweet she was. Lhuillier is not only my favorite wedding gown designer but she is an inspiration and a role model to me.

A huge thanks to Bloomingdale's for having us at this event.

2010 Bodas USA Editorial and Design Feature

Last year we were featured on Bodas USA, the 1st Latin on-line bridal magazine in the U.S.
We had the pleasure of not only designing the shoot and florals but we wrote the article that went along with the feature as well.

A big thanks to my sister, Lolly, who edited my Spanish and Lilian De La Torre-Jimenez, the publisher.

Another thanks to all the people that made this shoot happen, Pesh Photo, David-Brandon Photographers and last but not least Elizabeth Luna.

Bride and Bloom 2011 Feature

Here's the official Bride and Bloom feature!

Amber and Eloy : November 2010 : Castaway in Burbank

We had the pleasure of coordinating and designing floral's for Amber and Eloy's November wedding at the Castaway in Burbank.
Enjoy pictures courtesy of Jenny Alders Photography:

Amber looked like a 1920's goddess.

We love this unique ring bearer look Amber went for.

During the ceremony amber opted for a unique "ritual adapted from a Yoruba tradition, the bride and groom taste four flavors that represent different emotions within a relationship: sour (lemon), bitter (vinegar), hot (cayenne), and sweet (honey). By tasting each of the flavors, the couple symbolically demonstrates that they will be able to get through the hard times in life, and, in the end, enjoy the sweetness of their marriage."

The couple opted for a moonlight wedding. <3

At the reception Amber decorated with family wedding photos.

A gourmet popcorn station was enjoyed by all.

Congrats Amber and Eloy!
